Melagyn Floraprotect relieves vaginal discomfort and odor by restoring normal pH and vaginal flora. It provides additional hydration and a regenerating effect, therefore protecting the vaginal epithelium from dehydration thanks to the high water retention capacity of glycerol.
It contributes to the recovery of a normal vaginal ecosystem, mainly after the use of treatments for different conditions. Helping to maintain normal pH and vaginal flora.
It is a unique combination of glycerol, lactic acid and the innovative ?-Glucooligosaccharides (?-GOS). ?-GOS are specific substrates that contribute to the selective growth of lactobacilli to the detriment of pathogenic agents. Lactic acid supports this function by lowering vaginal pH naturally.
How to use:
After an “isolated” episode of bacterial vaginosis, apply 1 dose (tube) per day for 8 consecutive days, starting the day after completion of antibiotic treatment. The treatment must be repeated after the next menstruation.
In case of frequent recurrences, the protocol indicated above will be followed. The 8-day treatment should then be repeated every 6 months, starting the day after the end of menstruation.
