Terpenic Lab Castor oil

Castor oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the Ricinus communis L. plant of the Euphorbiaceae family. It is native to the Mediterranean basin, India and East Africa.

Within the composition of castor oil there is a glycoprotein called Ricin that provides purgative properties well known since ancient times. For this reason, being a pure non-rectified oil, we will apply this vegetable oil exclusively externally.

In cosmetics, Castor has been used very commonly since the manufacture of lipsticks, hair preparations, bath oils, eyelash products and emulsions.

We must also take into account the properties that we have previously discussed as an antiseptic and analgesic (along with anti-inflammatory and analgesic essential oils in rheumatism, for example).

It is also recommended in preparations of body and hair oils (anti-hair loss and split ends scalp lotions).
