AZELOGLICINA® (POTASSIUM AZELOYL DIGLYCINATE) (3%). It has anti-acne action, due to its sebum-normalizing properties (it reduces the levels of free fatty acids in sebum by competitive inhibition of 5-alpha-reductase, blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone), antibacterial properties (it reduces the number of both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, including Propionibacterium acnes, without interfering with normal sebum production), anti-keratinizing properties (it has an antiproliferative cytostatic effect on keratinocytes) and anti-inflammatory properties. It also has a high moisturizing power (due to being bound to glycine molecules) and improves skin elasticity, as well as depigmenting and preventing new spots. Therefore, it is ideal for restoring balance to acne-prone, seborrheic, dehydrated, and blemished skin, leaving a luminous appearance. It has a safety profile, is hypoallergenic, non-irritating, and non-comedogenic. NATURAL ALPHA BISABOLOL From the chamomile plant (Matricaria chamomilla), it protects and accelerates the skin's repair process from the effects of daily stress. Directions for use: Apply Silsen® cream for acne-prone skin to skin previously washed with UNIPHARMA OAT SOAP SOLUTION, both morning and night. When the affected area is not very large (isolated pimples, small areas with pimples), it is VERY IMPORTANT to apply A VERY LITTLE AMOUNT OF SILSEN® to the affected area, using light touches. A very small amount leaves no greasy residue, is well absorbed, and has a very good texture, so it can be used before leaving the house without leaving a trace. It also allows you to wear makeup over it without any problems. When the affected area is larger (face with a lot of acne, back, etc.), you can spread it with a larger amount of SILSEN®, but keep in mind that applying more SILSEN® can create a white film on the skin. In these cases, it is advisable to consider the most appropriate time of day to apply it to the affected area. This film is formed by the inclusion of two high-value components in SILSEN®: Kaolin (also known as white clay), one of the most widely used ingredients in natural cosmetics, and Titanium Oxide.
