Carbox is a powdered drink containing a complex of carbohydrates. It combines five forms of slowly, moderately and rapidly absorbed carbohydrates. Contains maltodextrin, dextrose, sucrose, fructose and cornstarch. These sugars have different glycemic indices, that is, they affect blood sugar levels to different degrees. Because of their varying absorption rates, some of them supply carbohydrates to your body quickly, while others supply carbohydrates for prolonged periods.
