Constituents: - Essential oil (0.02-0.2%), consisting mainly of monoterpene aldehydes, such as neral, geranial and citronellal. - Hydroxycinnamic derivatives, including caffeic and chlorogenic acids and, in particular, rosmarinic acid. - Triterpenes: ursolic and oleanolic acids. - Flavonoids. - Cinnamic aldehyde is the main component, also eugenol and cinnamic alcohol.
