Curcumin is the primary curcuminoid in turmeric and the compound for which most studies have been done. Standardized extracts from a plant source only isolate these desired active compounds for the final formulation, simplifying ingredient selection.
This product does not contain the additive curcumin (E 100), as can be seen in the list of ingredients detailed on the product label.
