Properties: Analgesic Antirheumatic Anti-inflammatory Diuretic It is a plant of the Cupresáceae family that has a wide distribution extending from the cold regions of the northern hemisphere to the mountainous areas in North America, Europe and Asia. It is a 1 or 2 meter tall shrub with slow development. Its leaves, shaped like a needle and gathered in spirals, are green, finished in a pointed apex of certain hardness. Plants are separated into male and female members. The flowers appear in spring and the female ones bear fruit in the fall. The fruits are spherical in shape with a grayish green color that, when ripe, after 18 months, turn black.
